School Policies

At St. Luke's Parish School, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and well-organized learning environment for every child. The policies below provide an overview of the standards and procedures that guide our school community.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

The health and well-being of every child is our highest priority. St. Luke's is a nut and peanut free school, and our Two's classrooms are monitored by a part-time nurse in accordance with Connecticut state regulations. All faculty and staff are certified in CPR, First Aid, and EpiPen administration.

SAFETY & SECURITY

Providing a safe and secure learning environment is one of our highest priorities. School entrances remain locked during school hours, and we follow established safety and security protocols to protect our students and staff.

POSITIVE GUIDANCE

At St. Luke's, we believe discipline is an opportunity to teach and guide children as they learn to make thoughtful choices, solve problems, and develop respect for themselves and others. Our approach focuses on positive guidance rather than punishment.
